Wind talker Orange is going green this summer, debuting a phone charging wind turbine at the Glastonbury festival. Orange's latest invention is a personal power station for your phone!... Don’t get caught short for talk time in the middle of a field this summer, use an eco-tastic phone charger from Orange! Hooking onto the top of your tent, or sat on a tripod next to it, the Mobile Wind Charger lets you harness mother nature’s most powerful gusts to charge your phone in the middle of nowhere! The turbine weighs just 150 grams, so it’s small enough to fit in a bag alongside your loo roll, wellies and sun cream, and even stores wind-won energy in its own battery while you’re away from the tent, ready to juice up your blower on your return. It’s a smashing invention, but while Orange will show off working models at Glasto next week, there’s no word on where we can buy one for ourselves. Watch this space, and we’ll let you know as soon as they go on sale. www.t3.co.uk/news/247/communications/mobile_phone/wind_talker

Wonderin why I would need to charge my cell phone while camping in a tent? The thing isn't gonna work there anyway.
