Can't remember if I ever posted this here and couldn't find it, so, here's a pic of the hummers at my folks bout 4 years ago when we got a LOT of snow up here. Their hummers are here year round, sun, rain or snow. I love this pic, would like to make it a Christmas card one day.

All year long, all winter long, I was surprised to find that out too when I moved up here. But if ya got the feeders out, they'll find you and flock to them in winter too, no matter how cold it is. I just love the way they hover in front of the window to complain if the feeder goes empty, LOL. My folks keep 4 feeders going all year long, they get probably 15-20 hummers, even during winter. Feisty little buggers and funny to watch them "guarding" THEIR feeders and running each other off.

We have a male in a cage rite now he hurt his wing he eats and is getting stronger I just hope he can fiy again so we can let him go
