First fish of 09

Me an mud went fishin Sat and Sun night. No luck Sat night but we kinda made up for it Sunday night. We both caught two channels. And Mud caught a already filleted cat on his line. Sumpthin pulled alil line out an when he drug it in, there was a fish already dressed out on his hook. We are just chalking it up ta sumpthin bigger was tryin ta eat said carcass. Dunno how it got hooked in the tail end tho.

Anyhow, our fishies ranged from bout 2 1/2 pounds on down. Nuttin big, but we wudda kept from starvin if we hadda eat em.

Mud is still outcatchin me, tho I'm ahead on the biggest fish. He wudnt let me catch one last night, and caught four. two blues an two channels. I hope ta even the score if the rains stay away tonight.

well, he wasnt too kind. He didnt let me catch a one this mornin. The bugger. He caught a 4 1/2 pound blue and a 2 1/2 pound channel.
