Fished Tappan Lake with my dad the last two evenings and the channels are biting.............Ive caught 6 channel cats between 2-4 lbs and dad has landed 6 also in the same size range.........ALL of our fish have come on FRESH cut shad fishing around the creek channels !!!! The fish dont seem to mind the cold temps at all !!!

How far is Tappon lake from Wheeling! It would be nice to stay at the casino over night and fish tappon!
