Love the herbs Snowy ..... I'll have to get some pics of my garden i planted it about 3 weeks ago and have flowers on my squash and two tiny tomatoes already. According to some locals i was late i can't wait to get this yard leveled so i can do my big garden next year. The only problem is my basil has turned brown since i pinched it...Anybody know what happened?

Nice garden SF. All my herbs either never came up or died, except the parsley. I'm growing mine in pots, gotta figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Oooooh, squash, I LOVE squash. Was going to try growing some this year, but figgered I'd get the hang of the flowers and herbs before I try a few veggies.

Boy Miss Kitty your garden looks great!!! We just got ours planted on sat. I hope it lives till I get back !!!We planted 24 tomatoes ( early girl, Mr. Stripey, Hill Billy, and Roma) 6 hills of cucumbers Lettuce 2 rows onions 1 row raddishes 4 watermellon 12 green pepper 8 Hungarian Hot wax pepper 8 sweet bannana Pepper 4 jalipino (sp) Peppers 4 Zucchini 3 rows taters 6 rows corn ( one earlier harvest than the other) 1 row sunflowers and hopefully the boy plants his pumpkins !!!
If everything grows I will be doing real well come harvest !! Might not be any apples this year thanks to frost we will have to wait and see.....
Miss Kitty if you send me some thyme i'll send you some yellow or blue flags ! LOL I am going to look down here for more herbs for my garden back home., cant find thyme or bay or chives...

YIPPEE!!!!!!!! Picked mt first zucchini today ....... I let them get medium to large size . This one today was about 14" long and nice and fat .....lots of folk don't like to let them get big but growing up Italian, breaded zucchini sandwhiches were the norm in the summer and we let them get big to get more bigger pieces...... I have a bunchof tomatoes, not red yet and some yellow squash and a few more zucchini almost ready to be picked....
I love the weather here it's so much fun pickin this stuff earlier than what i did in the 'Burgh... normally up there planting was always Memorial day weekend or after the first full moon of May (that was my grams way).....
