Wow, musta been some bear. I read this last week that they've had to relocate several bears in Yosemite National Park this summer already and have had to shoot two since January already. Lots of bears and they aren't being polite, just walk right in and tear up camps and cars.

You gotta get a warrant SF? ?? Around here, any wild animal that becomes dangerous or isn't afraid of people, you can just shoot it if it's on your property.

That is why he has been around the hunters bait them in then train the dogs, and you can go to the top of the hill and drop off 3 ways and end up in Bergoo, Gauley river or backside of cherry falls. to get there by driving the road takes awhile, but going accross the top of the mountain is always a short cut...

I have lots of Bear around here. Thay say it's the best Bear hunting in the state. I couldn't tell you if it is or not.But where I live is the ownly place in the state you can use dogs. Thats called the northern half of the state. Swamper could tell you more about hunting Bear than I can. I don't need to hunt them. Thay find me all the time. And other people give me there meat cause thay just hunt for sport not to eat.So most the Bear I get are trophy's. The people I know just don't shoot what thay see. Thay hunt for the big ones ownly.Thats Bear and Deer and waterfowel. And sometimes even a turkey. Thats cause wild turkey's are tuff birds to make so you can eat them.(LOL). Your mountain tho sounds like it could be fun to wander and take fishing pole to.(LOL).

Should see what they do to a beehive. Usually smash it to pieces. however, I heard tale of a bear that was robbing a frame or two at a time. The beekeepers thought it was a person, so they set up a camera. Imagine their surprise to see a 300 pound black bear come galumphing out of the treeline up to a hive, one upward swat to knock the cover off, then he hooked a frame with a claw , tossed it 10 ft in the air, (the bees came off then) caught it in his mouth and was gone. The whole thing took 30 seconds from appearance to disappearance. Smart bear, he had sustainable beekeeping in mind.
