Went to the auction last night an finished fillin my truck. I found that to limit myself, I left my truck full an that way I couldnt buy too much junk. lol Anyhow. I spent 7 bucks an got two insulated coveralls an one non-insulated pair. Five pairs of pants (dockers I think), some assorted shirts. All my size. Oh yeah an one pair of bib overalls. Shoot, one pair of insulated coveralls is bout fifty bucks here. Got some assorted dish sets. Figgered I'd give them to some of the kids at work that have their own place an not much in the way of dishes. (spent two bucks on that). Food processor an all the blades fer a buck. And a lectric scooter for $12.50. Dunno if it works or not. Figgered on what I saved on the coveralls paid for sumpthin to tinker with. Gotta whole passel of books an figger I'll turn them over to a friend to sell online. And got a whole set of Lincoln Logs. I used ta have a set of them, till either the thieves or the fire one, took care of em. Dang things is the reason I built my first log cabin. Anyhow, I think their a collector item now. Dont matter none. They'll prolly wind up as a christmas gift. Since we gotta dumpster thread, meybe we orta hava auction thread on what bargains we get. ??

Hubby went to a couple of yard sales yesterday and got a big box of assorted light bulbs. All kind of wattages (is wattages a word) . Anyway gave $1.50 for the whole box full. Got me one of the green handle rolling pins for $2.00 and a bunch of the official Nascar cars still in the box, never opened for $1.00 each. They will be Christmas for one of his grandsons. He got some hedge clippers and some stuff to hang on the side of the garage. I think I posted a picture one time on here showing all the stuff we have nailed to the side of the garage. Now the front is covered and he's working on the other side. He went a couple of weeks ago to an antique auction and bought us a Roseville Pottery tea set. I won't tell what he paid for it.

Wow hb you hit the jackpot! Now that is the kind of sale I would love to go to. What kind of scooter did ya get? joyce, hubby did good too. One light bulb will nearly cost that. Yeah, I saw all the neat tools on the garage. Its a wonder someone doesn't steal em. I guess he nails em on pretty good. Plus the fact maybe they know yall and figure they don't want buckshot in their butt.
