Went an looked atta couple new nannys yesterday. Went ahead an spoke for em. I dunno what kind they are, but just average brush goats. a brown one and a white one. That orta give the guys sumpthin new ta chase around. My girls, Dink is bout ready to pop. She's bout as wide as she is tall. I dont think Rosie is puttin out. She aint had kids since late last year. And it seems lotsa folks are wantin goats right now. either to eat or for pets and brush control. The goats Im a gettin are from a good friend's herd of pets and he died a couple weeks or so ago and his kids called me. A good feller he was, even if he did nail my pantlegs to a stepladder years ago. Anyhow, I'm also gettin a goathouse and a few bales of hay throwed in.

I want some goats so bad. I saw a yard the other day that had some minature goats. They were so cute. But I have flower beds and trees, so I here they'd tear them up. Plus I don't think the small town we are in will let us have farm animals. Which is funny, because almost dead center of town, some people have 3 horses. We live on the very edge of town. Nothing but pasture land in front of us. Only a few neighbors on our road, and there is pasture land to each side of them. We are pretty much in the country, but still in city limits.

Meybe you could sneek em in as a pet? Only one of my goats is a tall goat. The other are either smaller breeds of some sort or Nigerian Dwarfs. I like ta keep em that way. easier on fences, me and other stuff. If they do butt ya, they hit ya bout the kneecaps. lol
Pygmy goats are tempermental, I think. And noisey. I wouldnt have one. They look like lil beer kegs on sticks. Dwarfs look just like a normal goat only smaller.
