As you know, I need a vehicle and a cheap one that runs decently .
I have been hearing alot about the car auctions. Has anyone every bought a car from one ?

Here too, but I think once a year the government has a sale for autos that were taken in drug arrests. I got my Camaro from a guy that bought it like that. It had the tail light wires pulled aloose and some of the interior was taken aloose too. It was an 85 and I bought it in 90 for $2000. He prolly didn't pay but about $500 for it, but just guessing. I got my money's worth out of that car even tho its setting up now. But it was a good ole car and was real dependable.

They have public auctions about 4 times a year in Milan. The police dept auctions off cars, trucks, etc. that have been confiscated in drug bust. A friend of mine who is the auctioneer for this always sends me a flyer about it. Never been to one but sometimes the vehicles sound pretty good.
Maybe you could go online and google car auctions in your area.

Thanks everyone! Tulsa has weekly auctions in several places. Want to check them out. Will have to take someone who knows cars with me.
