Today I went to Sams Club to buy some 10 by 13 envelops. They are really cheap there $12 for 150! Other places want more for 100! While I was there I saw some gorgeous garlic in a long one foot netting package. It was 2 pound with 18 large cloves! It cost $3.47. I plan to plant some also. Here is a great link that may help you with garlic! +++ www.naturalhub.com/grow_vegetable_type_garlic.htm

That sounds like it was a great buy! I think that may beat my 5 cloves for $1.50, though it sure was some GOOD garlic! I hope it grows for you. I found out the hard way that all the garlic you buy in the store has been doused with anti-sprouting chemicals and will either not grow, or will barely grow. Plus, it is all soft-neck garlic. I am looking for the hard-neck garlic....... it doesn't store quite as long, but it has THREE TIMES the antibacterial qualities as the soft neck kind (store bought). And, it holds its shape much, much better for grilling.

I love garlic. Especially garlic stuffed green olives. I go through more garlic/ground garlic in a year than I do any other spice in 3 years.

Ooooo..... those garlic stuffed green olives are the best!!! Yea, I cook with a LOT of garlic, too, powdered and fresh. Not sure I could cook much if someone took my garlic away.

When I run out of garlic, I'm lost. Onliest thing I don't use it in is my cake, cookie and pie baking, LOL. I do put garlic in some of the breads and biscuits I make. Few years back, my youngest got me one of those garlic bakers for the oven. It sure works nice. Buying the garlic stuff olives is soooooooooo expensive, so I usually buy unstuffed green olives, put my own garlic in them, then leave em in the fridge fer a couple of weeks. It works, LOL, and much cheaper.

My husband can taste the least little hint of garlic, and won't eat it

I'm going to have to try that "make your own" stuffed green olives. Never thought of that, but sure sounds like a good idea!
