Little idea I stole from my pa in-law. You need a hose, a sprinkler and a fan to go in the window of yer trailer. Remember this is a redneck air conditioner, but will work fine with a fancy house too. The Idea is to wet your roof during the times of the day when it is over 100 f. This will seriously use some evaporative cooling and take a major load off your ac. Well you are usin some electricity for your well, but not nearly as much trust me. And if yer ac is busted it will keep the house bearable with a fan blowin out the window and i or 2 here an there. People on city water can't get away with this, but to most us trailer dwellers its but a little jump in the light bill.

No AC here, and this sounds like a GREAT idea, but I don't have enough water pressure to run a sprinkler, either. Even with a hose end sprayer, my water wouldn't reach the top of my roof. I have really good insulation so I do have fans inserted in a few of my windows to pull in the cooler, nighttime air, then circulate it with the ceiling fans during the day. It sure does help!
