I just re-read this thread. To get rid of the wasps. Use a mixture of dish soap and water. just enough soap to make things sudsy. put it in an old spray bottle or a water gun. kills them pretty much instantly by clogging up their pores so they can't breath. this mixture also works well on army worms or pretty much anything that you might want to get rid of without harming kids or pets.
