I miss KFC. We had one up here, but it closed last year. Somehow the chicken from the deli at the grocery store ain't the same. I really liked their honey bbq wings too. Just had oatmeal tonight, not real ambitious.

Experimenting for dinner tonight. Dice up some sweet taters, put em in the bottom of the crockpot, sliced some onion thin and put that on top, then some mushrooms. Put on a bit of garlic powder and some poultry seasoning. Then put two boneless loin pork chops (they're bout a inch thick) on top of all that and will cook it on low all day. Will have to watch it to see if I need to add a bit of liquid, but don't think I'll have to. Just was laying there last night deciding how I wanted to cook those chops and this floated into my head. Will have it with broccoli spears. I'll let ya'll know if I survive, LOL.

Turned out pretty good, but gotta work on the amounts of seasonings, too much of one and not enough of the other. Also added some apple juice when it looked like it needed it. Next time won't trim off the fat around the edges of the chop so much.
