For cheap folks like us. www.laundry-alternative.com/catalog/Washing-5-1.htmlAnd they gotta dryer too. not quite as cheap but prolly worth it. Looks like a food processor and spin drys yer clothes. Notta big load in either unit mind you. But would beat the heck outta hand washin a few things ta get ya by. or even all the time if ya do lotsa little loads. The washer is hand powered and the dryer plugs in to lectricity. Think I'll put the washer on my Christmas list. Feel free to ship me one.

It wudn't hold my firesuit. Maybe the hood and the helmet liner, but not the suit. I really doubt if you could get a pair of overalls in it.

I want one, too! That is sooo neat. Sure could have used that when I took my kids on long camping trips when they were little. What we spent running in to the laundry mat would have paid for all of us to have one. Wonder if you could fit at least one full sheet into it. Does that 5 pounds it holds include the water?

I had one a those. Does a bang up job of washing (man ya oughta see the dirty water!), but then ya gotta drain the water out, then put in clean water several times to rinse yer clothes. And the clothes are real soppy cause there's no spin cycle. LOL But seriously, if ya don't do 2 or more rinses with more clean water, then yer clothes are soppy with the dirty water, so aren't really clean. I finally got ridda mine, I was inna apartment and it was hard to store for me, but guess it would work for some.
