Windy as heck. spent more time helpin the kids get lines untangled, etc...
Every time I stood up to do anything, the wind blew my lawnchair away. Caught 3 drum and a little perch.
Still beats a day at work.

Did better tonight. Took my younger 2 and went to Truman. All totaled we brought in 13, a little channel cat, 2 bass, and the rest were crappie. Got them all filleted and in the freezer. Can't wait to get enough together for a good meal.

Caught 3 crappie, a large perch, and a 2 lb channel cat last night. Was too dark for pictures, but here are the ones we caught on Sunday.  |

Nice Telly!....you guys are doin' good!
I wonder if you and HB have any idea how fortunate you are to be up there livin' on the banks of the big water?!
It ain't terrible far up to the lake nearest me, but it ain't bank fisher-person friendly like you have up there...and me without a boat!...the very few places down here where you can fish from the bank are generally packed and i ain't into shoulder to shoulder fishin'...sure glad there are a lot of ponds nearby....
BTW Telly, I'm plannin' on doin' a little fishin' up in your lil' corner of the world in a coupla' months...sure would be pleased to be able to meet you and Mrs. Telly and your off-spring then...maybe we could all get together and have a lil' fishin' adventure or a picnic or go someplace for hamburgers or something? Ain't got an exact date yet, but if you and your family would be interested, I'll PM ya when plans get firmed up some......

It should be. My parents were in town this weekend, so we fried about half of what we caught, and sent the rest home with them. Was definately good eating, and I had a blast fishing with my dad.
