I have hanging baskets with flowers on my front porch. My husband went out this morning to water them for me. Out comes a bull snake in one of them!!!!!!!!!!! Now how the heck, and WHY the heck was he in there? It would have took a lot of trouble for him to get in there. If he was looking for wet cool ground, we also water trees and flowers on the ground. Why would he want in there? I am really nervous now. We have found rattlers here before and are aware to watch out for them. Especially in this dry heat. We are forever telling the grandkids to be on the look out. But who'd thought a snake would be in that HANGING pot? Here is a pic of the snake, and of the flowers he was in.
