I visited a bit with Sinker last night after all the hoopla in town. He talked bout not figgerin on ever gettin a computer hooked back up to the net. So I asked if that meant I should take his name off the Mod list? He said to tell ya the only thing he knew lately bout fishing was that "catfish tasted good no matter if you caught it or someone else had caught it". I figger he'll stay as an honorary member here for as long as the board stays up. So that his wit and wisdom lingers on. Hb

I miss Sinker! He's one of my favorite people anywhere. Gotta' be mentally alert and prepared for some real witty banter and BS around Sink.
Please give him a hug from me when ya see him...okay...since you guys are such manly men and hugging is probably a lil' too much closeness, maybe ya should just tell him I send a big ol' virtual hug.
I still owe him a birthday dinner. Please tell him I haven't forgotten. He might get it before his next birthday, but the way things are going, probably not.
By the way, on his study of the emotional needs of tomato plants, please inform him that in the buckets where I put two cherry 'mater plants together, they've out-done themselves on height. Bet those suckers are 9 or 10 feet tall if they weren't drooping over their cages....they haven't produced much, but they sure got impressively tall. Not sure what that means about their emotional needs....I'll leave the data for him to interpret.

It's for the book with such topics as your theory of flat surfaces and such.....we were briefly talkin' 'bout that kinda' thing last time I was visitin' with him and he mentioned someone up there had talked to him 'bout the emotional needs of 'mater plants 'cuz he thought his were lonely or some-such.....since I had just planted two plants to a bucket, I told Sink I'd let him know how they did when they didn't hafta' be lonely..........
