Went out to my usual pond and fished for a few hours, along about eleven am I hooked into my new pb channel, wieghing in at 12lbs 1oz, then in about 20, minutes I got a 4lber. While I was waiting on the cats to bite, I caught 10 crappie, 1 bluegill, and 2little bass, was a good day on the pond.

Atta boy, Papa!!! Thats a perty good sized channel. Bet he put up a tussle.  I'm hopin I get out tomorrow evening and may even get to go with Sinker, Saturday. |

Hope you guys did some good out there. He did put up a good tussle, my biggest channel, was 10lb 5oz before. Haven't been catching many but so far great, biggest channel and flathead to date.

We didn't go Saturday. The wind was a blowin perty hard. May go later this week. Me and Mud did go Frisday. He caught a bouta 4 pounder and a gar. I got lotsa mayflies. Seems, they're hatching out.

I think I suck at being a guide. We been on the water about 12 hours total this weekend and had no luck. Went out after work last night and stayed till bout 5ish this morning. Almost got a gar up to the boat. I think sonars lie. or, as we were talkin about it. There's only five kinds of fish here. Crappy, catfish, gar, carp, and shad. Musta been all carp and gar I seen on the radar.

Was told that last week that the crappy fishermen were comin' home real happy from that lake near me...
and was told of a lil' cove area where they're complainin' 'cuz they are tryin' for bass, walleye and crappie but are catchin' channel cats 'bout as fast as they can get some bait in the water....not many kitty fisherpeople around here.
I simply do not understand what is wrong with those kindsa' people.
