I got abouta 4 pounder and a couple gar. we were drift fishing. Been drift fishin bout ever since Daveeka showed us how ta do it. I did fish off the bank Thursday night and cawt a gar. But had some needed peace time. Amazing what will just come to ya when yer out in the night air a ponderin over stuff. Also amazing is the number of folks that still wanna go fishing with me. I guess just for the sake of it? I added two more in the last 24 hours that wanna go. Ain't like I can guarantee em any fish.

It's probably the person they want to fish wiith, not what they can catch. Good cumpany is hard to find nowadays. I still like to fish though, always give mine to somebody that has a family to feed.

Went out fishing last night. I watched the fireworks at Osceola while Mud caught bait. He didn't seem to interested in the BOOMS. We trolled in first gear on the trollin motor, up wind, against the wind, for bout two miles. He caught a nice lil blue bout upwards of ten pounds. I caught nuttin again. He turned it loose to grow up.
He been using Daveedka's fishing methods eversince he was here. Now he talkin bout gettin a drift sock. I told him to get a big pair of nylon pants and tie the legs shut. Surely someone has an old pair he can borry. For all summer. ;D

Just get a plastic bucket, drill some holes in the bottom, tie a rope on and you got a drift sock, er bucket.
