Just remembered. Feller at work yesterday said someone came thru and bought hushpuppies for their goat. He watched and sure enuff, they fed em to a goat. He said the same person said the goat was housebroke. Was a pygmy he said.
I know mine like hushpuppies. They'll chase the cats off to get one.

That's what I was thinkin Buzzard. If the goats eat hushpuppies, do they eat fish, fries and the slaw too? That's what I like to go with my hushpuppies .

Surprisingly, I have actually found quite a few things my goats won't eat. It fascinated one of my kids (human) so much that she did her science fair project on it once. I had She fed all kids of things to all of the goats and documented which ones did and didn't eat each thing. What surprised us the most was only some of them liked the fruit loops, but not all of them. One disliked them so much that she spit them back hard at us every time! I have had pygmy goats and a pot bellied pig. The pot bellied pig was much more well mannered. Those pygmy goats can really get a mean streak in them. One of mine got such a mean streak in her she killed a few of my goats, even goats twice her size. Had to separate her from the rest. Love that pic!!! I could easily picture my 8-month old white Boxer doing that!

Buzzy, my pot-bellied pig was well mannered. It was the pygmy goat that wasn't, though she was nice to me and I did love her dearly. She just didn't want other goats around her.
I got the pot-bellied pig when it showed up in the yard one time and no one in the area would claim it. Turned out a couple of kids had hidden it in their garage, mom found out and turned it loose and wouldn't let them bring it back home. It was one of my best, and calmest, pets ever. I still have to laugh when I think of her rolling over on her back at my feet wanting her belly rubbed.

No ppennay, My dad learned that lesson the hard way, We raised a baby piglet on a bottle kept her for 2 years till she got huge , and then dad decided it was time to butcher. so we did, Then he had to give all the meat away cause no one could sit at the table with out crying ( we were all little then lol ) After that we were not allowed to name the animals or even pet them

My grandpa had a chicken once that I named and made my pet. My grandma fried her up one day and I wouldn't eat it. She kept tryin to make me fer two days and I wouldn't eat it and she wouldn't give me nuthin else. My granpa finally yelled at her and she quit tryin, but then she was mad at him and wouldn't cook him anything fer about a week, LOL.
