Just went down last weekend to pick up my grandmother's old treadle sewing machine. unfortunately it got put out on her front porch for a few weeks, and took in a rain shower or two, but the damage is all cosmetic, and I think it can be fixed.

I happen to know someone that works on Singers just in case you need something.

The old Singers are great, the new ones the last few years are garbage. I'd love to have a treadle! Enjoy it Telly, just knowing it was your grandma's makes it special.

I learned how to sew on an old Singer treadle machine. I would love to have one that works. I'd probably be able to sew on it. You could get the rhythm going.

My mom had one and I learned to sew on it when I was young, when she died, we sold it, am so sorry for that move, we have an electric one and can't sew on it to save my life, I hate it.
