Has anyone ever raised turtles? We used to have a Red eared slider a few years back. Now we have a Painted turtle that hubby rescued from the birds yesterday. LOL! They were pecking at her shell and causing her all kinds of grief. So we brought her in, cleaned her up (covered in all kinds of mud and algae), bought her an awesome aquarium for her to stay in. Now we have been doing all kinds of research on what they like, what they need, etc. Just wondered if anyone has had experiences with them.
