Sold an old barely used yak. A sun dolphin journey 10 footer. Sit on top. And got a Lifetime Tamarack sit on top 10 foot. Wider, lotsa good reviews, unlike the journey. It should be titled POS. Hopefully, it will warm a a bit and not have 30 mph gusts so I can try it out here soon. I still have my old Viper sit in kind. Probly wudnt trade it for a speckled pup. I like it quite a bit. But wanted to try a sit on to see what all the hub blub was about. They say the Tamarack is like a tank. Slow and stout. I don't plan on bein in any speed races. Will let ya know. ....

Still haven't got it out yet.... But did get a stadium seat like they said I needed for more better comfort. Nope! Too wide to fit and there's a metal bar right across the middle of my back. Probly just use a foam pad for the first trial run. Hopefully this week. Sposta be windy Thursday an not so much on Friday. Warm both days. Maybe it wont be too bad down on the creek I plan on tryin it out on. We'll see ........

Was kinda warm but the water was danged cold. Still, I took out the new yak and tried it out. Caught some fish, got my feet wet, but hadda good time. Think it'll be lots warmer fore I takes it out again.
