I love to go dumpster diving, I found a beautiful bed once, not the mattress but the frame, and coffee table and many many items.

"Yeah I found an Irish 7 course meal. a potato and a six pack of bear. " Ahhhh the joys of being Irish. ;D We live for dumpster diving and garage saling. I love Good will too. In this economy especially. This past two years since I lost so much in the 3 before that moving around selling, giving away, and getting rid of stuff I couldn't take we have gotten from people moving and leaving stuff by the dumpster: 1. An entertainment center 2. A computer desk for my son's room 3. Lounge Chair 4. Coat Rack 5. Two Patio Chairs 6. An Ironing Board 'course now I have the nickname my teenager gave me "White Trash Mom"

I personally didnt do the "dumpster diving" but my little brother did it for me and brought me home a nice looking red velvet chair that if you didnt know any better you would think was bought new...It goes great with my bedroom and zebra theme! Everytime someone asks me "where did you get that chair?" I proudly tell them, "my brother got it for me from someone's trash going out!" I have also gotten a child's wading pool while out with a friend from the side of the highway, must have blown out of someone's car, but it is ours now...I have found lots of odd and end things and so has my brother and father! So I guess you can call us the DUMPSTER family

I went to that website and someone claimed to have found an abandoned boat in a parking lot? Ahem, uh, how did they know it was abandoned? I think that might be a case of mistaken identity.

I went diving this morning. A friend was tearin down an old barn an said I could have anything there. I gotta 5 1/2 horse boat motor and a trolling motor an a bucket of new nails (still shiny) Some books. like on wiring and bees etc. four stock tank heaters two perfect condition storm windows two fence chargers and some misc. angle iron oh and a big O2 tank for a torch so far the trolling motor works. and the 5 1/2 horse isnt locked up, so theres hope. Just what I needed, more junk

Hmmm HB, do you weld? I sure do need someone to make me something to help when I mow the yard. I hurt my knees, operation twice on left knee, and that is the side the peddle is on riding mower. I need something similar to a horse steerup but smaller, just to give you an idea of the shape...to slip on the peddle and then long enough with maybe a T-handle to push mostly with my left hand. Do you understand what I am describing?

Posted a solution "elsewhere"...I'm pretty sure it'd work, it's easy and cheap. And no knees involved

Sheep work good. I think what you need is a Hydrostat lawnmower. No gearshifts. and sometimes no pedals. Depends on the mower. Time to trade it in. Quote"And no knees involved " I tend to like when knees are involved
