Better let HB keep his goat herd over there. Them Missouri goats might not know how to act here in Tennessee. I posted a few pictures in the photo section.

My carrots are coming up and I dug down where I planted my taters and they are sprouting. ;D I will be eating green onions prolly this weekend. Finally got the north garden worked up real good. Hope to start on the south side garden either today or tomorrow. I sure do need a tractor. It's taking me longer than I thought it would. Working ground with a tiller is rough on a body.

Never had much trouble with the rabbits. Just sprinkle some buttermilk on whatever they are chewing on and it stops them. It's just the blame deer that drive me crazy.

When you find something to skeer off the deer (besides the shotgun) let me know! I'll pass it along to my parents, LOL! One year they had planted 150 Iris plants and after the Iris came up, one night the deer pulled each plant up and left it in front of the hole, I kid you not! All the tracks that was out there was deer tracks. They didn't eat them, just laid them by the holes. Boy was my dad mad!!!!!! He's still feuding with them over that, ROFL.

So far so good with the garden and flowers considering the cold weather we have had. I am getting out sheets and all kinds of throws and plastic today. I will make up my mind later on this afternoon if I decide to try and cover up alot of stuff tonight.
Was gonna finish mowing today and decide against it. Brrrrrrr.......

Been out tilling ground this morning. Going for it next week. Gonna do some major planting.

I heard we might get one more freeze around the 18th, so going to wait about planting my little mater plants. Going to put them in big flower pots I think. Some of my new seedlings are dead. Some damage on my hostas but I think they will be okay. My wisteria looks kind of sad, but hoping it will be ok.
